Heard of the phrase "DONT FIX IT IF ITS NOT BROKEN"
Photoshop's Gradient tool has become terrrible to work with. I've been using Photoshop for so many years, and this new gradient system in the recent update has made things significantly worse. The color transitions are nowhere near as smooth as they used to be, and the workflow feels incredibly clunky—especially when applying gradients to masks.
With this frustrating update, is there a way to revert to the old version that still uses the previous gradient system? I set this to auto update, now I wont.

@JosephComm – In the gradient tool options at the top of the workspace, ensure you have selected the legacy "classic gradient".

Using 26.3.0
Classic gradient does not work for me. If used in existing mask that is part of the image, even classic gradient makes the gradient for the whole image (starting eg. from left edge) . Gradient was used in existimg mask.
