Photoshop gray color problem

When I add texture to color my plan in Photoshop, everything looks gray. My color settings are normal, but no matter what I do, it doesn't work. When I draw with a normal pencil and choose a different color, it gives that color, but it doesn't work with the texture.

Could you please post a screenshot to illustrate the issue? Ensure the Layers panel is expanded and visible.
