Photoshop hangs (every time) after going to Photoshop 2024->About Photoshop

Photoshop hangs (every time) after going to Photoshop 2024->About Photoshop.  I'm on the latest version (25.9 i think - don't want to double check because PS will hang again - basically the latest except that I haven't installed the 'beta' version with AI).  However, I first noticed this issue a few months ago (so pretty sure it would have been an earlier version) but couldn't recall where to add PS bugs to until now.

I'm on an iMac M1 in case it matters.  While not a life shattering issue in itself, it would be pretty annoying to unknowingly go to check your PS version without first saving a design file you had open as any work would be lost.

Maybe a Photoshop preferences reset will fix the issue.

Hmmm I gather this means it's not happening for others?  I assumed it was a bug but will try resetting prefs a little later.  Thanks.
