This is frustrating, Photoshop will not save a document but hangs until I try to force quit and it will not even force quit but keeps hanging until I force shut down of the computer. Photoshop does this over and over again and I have given up on it and cannot do any work with it. I've uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled, I've deleted preferneces and still through it all I now come here as I am dead in the water so to speak... not able to do any work with Photoshop at all because I cannot save and it is hanging on save. Lightroom is now acting up. I always keep the latest updates installed, on a Mac with good performance and maintenance... I rely on this equpment to do my work and now I can do nothing. I need help please.

Does the Save Dialog come up at all? Or do you get a progress bar that's stuck on certain percentage?

Try renaming the UXP folder
Rename the UXP folder to ~UXP.
• (Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP
• (macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP

If that fixes it, I'd like to get a copy of the renamed UXP folder.
