Hi,
Why is image saving in Photoshop now more complicated than before? When you are editing the image you have saved already in the right format (normally jpg), saving the changes ends sometimes first to "save to creative cloud" panel. If not, you have to choose "save copy" in purpose to find jpg-format. And you have to change name of the file (take away copy) if you like save with the same name as the image had before.

Hi everyone, thanks for reaching out. This experience is updated now in version 23.4 & above.
Go to Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling > Default File Location > Set to 'On your computer' and restart Photoshop.
To update Photoshop to 23.4, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop. More detailed instructions for updating
Thanks!

»Before«? What before?
Have you just updated to the current version after using a obsolete Photoshop version for a multiple years?
Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?
• jpgs cannot contain certain elements, like Layers, so if this causes the problem it would be your own doing
• Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling > Default File Location > On your computer
• Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling > Enable legacy »Save As«

Hi @juhap95628550 you can also change your Save As behaciot ro remove the save copy by going to the same preference/File handling @kglad mentioned and checking "Enable Legacy Save As".
Both these changes will restore saving to the same behavior as previous versions.
