I've been experiencing seemingly random system reboots for some time now, and I've finally nailed down the culprit. It's Photoshop. Without question. I finally nailed it down while making contact sheets tonight. Start a batch process, crash, reboot. Start Photoshop again with nothing else running, start a batch, crash, reboot. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Turned off "Use GPU" and cleared all the caches, same thing. I can now reproduce the crash pretty reliably, and it's definitely Photoshop.
I have a fairly new build system (within the last 12 months), so I've no reason to suspect hardware problems. Also, hardware problems would manifest themselves under other heavy-load applications, and I use a LOT of extremely GPU and CPU-heavy applications (Nuke, Resolve, Stable Diffusion, AVISynth, Topaz, etc.) that eat way more cycles than Photoshop. It's not unusual for my CPU and GPU both to stay pegged at 100% for hours (even days) at a time during big jobs, and my system is rock stable as long as I don't use Photoshop. Temps are good, well within tolerances. I have a big 650w power supply that's way more than adequate for my box. I also reset my BIOS to defaults to make sure nothing is over-tuned. So I'm really not inclined to entertain "You have bad hardware!" because I know that blame shifting is usually the first response to these types of things. I've been using the same rig with no problems until the last few weeks, so I suspect an app update as the culprit.
Here's the setup: CLEAN install (i.e., reformat) of Windows 11 two days ago, no other software installed yet except antivirus, Discord, Chrome, and ComfyUI, Ryzen 9 5900x, 32GB DDR4, RTX 4700 12GB, latest NVidia Game Ready Driver (but also tried Studio Driver, no effect).
So anybody have any ideas what might be going on here?

Do you have plugins for Photoshop? If yes try disabling them Photoshop plug-ins troubleshooting (adobe.com)

No plugins. TOTALLY clean install of everything, including Windows - nothing installed except what I stated above - antivirus, Chrome, Discord, ComfyUI, Photoshop.
