Photoshop is irratic, image is 100% grey, tools malfunctioning-tried resetting, nothing works

Latest Photoshop-22- tried reseting photoshop, tried reseting tools, any image is 100% grey, tools malfunction if they actually appear instead of a hand. Monterey OS, 2013-19 Apple computer. This just started today. I had been working up until this afternoon, then it went haywire. NOTHING CLOUD-, nothing added. It just started. I did a disk utility run, on drive. Other applications I use all the time are OK, it just appears to be Photoshop 22.

Although it states is Photoshop 22, in reality it is Photoshop version 23.2.0
