Photoshop launches from server issues

With Photoshop currently running I can go to my file explorer on my desktop and double click on a Photoshop file and it will lauch the same verison of Photoshop but the image will not show up. I can literally have two Photoshops up at the same time but the Photoshop lauch from the file explorer will not display the image.

Which version of  the application are you using? Is it happening with all images?

Can you share a screen recording? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? 

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences.
