From lightroom - right click - edit in photoshop
Nothing happens, two minutes later error codes pop up saying: "photo cannot be edited because photoshop 2024 cannot be launched"
However the photo does indeed open in photoshop and a digital copy is made in lightroom for the edit.
Issue persists with further "edit in photoshop" requests and I have to wait 2-3 minutes for the next photo to open from lightroom.
In my opinion this is unnacceptable for a professional photo editing software and only started when the AI plugin was released.
I have 32gb of ram showing 19.6 being used when both applications are open so its not a memory issue

In your creative cloud app
-click on the three dots (...) next to the app and select “Other Versions” rollback to 24.6 version.
This bug appeared in the Photoshop (Beta) Versions 25 and 24.7
I don’t know if Adobe is going to fix this bug, but so far this problem remains in two successive updates.

If you have installed Photoshop Beta 25.0 it's a known issue.
P: Lightroom Classic>Edit in PS: Long Delay+Errone... - Adobe Support Community - 13966962
You can rollback to Beta version 24.7
I've heard about this issue also about systems there's no Beta installed.
In this case try this: Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Application to uninstall Photoshop. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop again.
If this doesn't help the nest step is to reinstall both apps Lightroom and Photoshop. Please follow the steps below:
1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Client and uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. When asked, keep preferences!
2. Install Photoshop first and then Lightroom Classic. The right order is very important here!
If this doesn't help try the reinstallation with removing the preferences also.
If this also doesn't help try to rollback to Photoshop 24.6
