Photoshop not loading

I've uninstalled it on creative cloud and resinstalled but it's just not opening?!?

Hi

What exact version of Photoshop and operating system are you using, are you trying to open it from the CC app or from a desktop shortcut.

Try to manually delete the preferences file as per instructions below

it's photoshop 22.3.1, I've just tried 22.2 too and same problem.

I'm on Catalina 10.15.7

I go through CC to load photoshop

Update - just tried photoshop 21.2.7 and that has opened. Is there a
problem with the newer version?

There seems to be a lot of issues with version 22.3.1, I can't install it because it won't recognise my GPU and I'm not alone as it's been well reported both here and on the Adobe feedback forum among many other issues.

I was able to install version 22.1.1 and that detects my GPU fine.

Adobe is aware of an issue where Photoshop 22.3.1 is not properly detecting the GPU, and have a fix that will be available soon; thank you for your patience.

An earlier version of Photoshop may be installed and used for the time being.
