photoshop opening file while computer is asleep

Am I the only one this is happening to? It's very weird . . . For three days in a row, when I open my laptop in the morning Photoshop has opened up - by itself - an image that I last used a week ago. In other words, it is not the most recent image I've been working on. I know that I closed all the images prior to ending my session and putting the computer into sleep mode for the night. Any ideas why this is happening? Am I being haunted by a cyber ghost?

Have not read that others have your problem.  Some  Fine the Photoshop will hang when woke from sleep.  It does not happen every time when I want my machine where Photoshop was up before sleep.  However it does frequently hand when woke.

Open documents are often "hidden" behind the active one, and not visible. You need to check in the taskbar what documents you have open, they will show up as small previews when you hover over the PS icon. Click the preview to bring it up front and active.

You won't notice any of this if you just put everything to sleep without closing - and then they show up next time. When closing you will get a prompt to save.

Aha! I will see if that is the case - an inactive file opened behind the

main window. Thanks for the tip!
