Photoshop Opens only as a background process

I have been using Photoshop normally more often but then all of the sudden I click open and nothing happens. I then go to Run As Administrator and nothing happens but duplicate instances open in task manager as a "Background Process"

I have tried many things to fix this problem and only one partially worked.

Before you ask, a few things

 - My PC is able to run it for I have been running it fine

 - I always run as administrator so it's not as simple as that (I have tried running it normally too)

 - I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times

 - Updated to the latest version

 - All my drivers have been updated to the latest version as well

 - Restarted My PC several times after different attempts to fix

 - Updated windows to the latest version

 - I created a second admin account (this worked at first but now the same problem still occurs)

I have seen this before that was related to a graphics card driver. You have updated this right? Look at the

Since my computer crashed and I get a new motherboard and videocard I am not able to open Photoshop except as a backgroundprocess.

I did everything mentioned in this thread:

  • remove photoshop
  • reinstall complete
  • clean with Adobe´s cleaner complet
  • after that reinstaal again

Manually I removed all Adobe´s file from AppData, run CCleaner. Next I installed Photoshop using the Creative Cloud.

Lightroom Classic regonise directly the videocard.

My system:

Windows 11 professional

Nvidia videocard XTR 3080, driver 516.93 from 26 july

Memory 64 GB ram

I tried all the solutions mentioned in this thread bu nothing brings a solution.

Today I discovered that starting the program could be done in the administrator modus. Out of the Creative Cloud Manager nope only starting with the rightclick and selecting "start as administrator".

When it runs the GPU is fully recognised and can be used.

Knows someone how to change this behaviour?

Thanks in advance,

Allie
