Photoshop remove tool, eraser AI

Hello,

When I want to use Photoshop's new AI erase tool, whatever layer I'm on, the mouse displays a no-go icon.

I haven't found a solution to this problem, if anyone has one.

Please show screenshots of the options bar for the Remove tool and your Layers panel with the layer selected so we can better assist.
