Photoshop requires constantly font updates

Hi All,

I could not find anything online.

As of late photoshop constantly pops up request for font update!

I have not installed new fonts ... it happens when opening a file I worked on just the previous day ... with the most usual fonts used, e.g. Ariel.

I deleted the font cache in Windows 11 and reset character in character window ... to no avail.

Any thoughts??

Did you delete Photoshop’s font cache?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
