Photoshop Setup?

Good day. Im frustrated. It seems like I can open photos in Photoshop, then I'll try to open another one and all I get is a blank screen. The layers panel will have the photo I'm trying to work on but my screen will be blank. This is a new problem. I've deleated and reinstalled Photoshop,  I've tried to turn off and on my GPU but that didnt work. Any suggestions?

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults?
