I am having same issue, same "black box" around the initial startup window and seemingly stuck "Initializing Shared Components"

Same here. Photoshop is getting slower each time I load it. It pauses for 10-12 seconds on initializing, when it was almost instantaneous a few months ago.

I have the same issue. I uninstalled and re-installed, but it made no difference 'Initiazing shared components..'

I am having the same problem. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. I thought this fixed it, but the problem is back again. UGH! I can't do any of my work. Very frustrating.

Try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset
