Pipette nimmt nicht die vordergrundfarbe auf

Hallo an alle,

@Magggiemac

In the Color panel, click once on the foreground swatch to activate it and try again.

I'm glad I was able to help @Magggiemac and your appreciative comments made my day! 😊

I am a volunteer and do not work for Adobe, but this may shed some light on your question to them. Adobe Illustrator has swatches for Fill and Stroke instead of Foreground and Background, but it works the same way. When the Stroke icon is active, you change the color of the Stroke. To change the Fill, you need to activate the Fill icon.

It's been this way forever at least as long as I've been using Illustrator. I don't actually know when it started in Photoshop, which I've been using since 3.0 (before CS and CC). Maybe another volunteer will know how long it's been in Photoshop.

@Magggiemac

I see what you mean. Maggie. In Illustrator, the swatch comes to the front, but not in Photoshop.

Clicking on the foreground or background swatch activates it. In Photoshop, the only way to tell is by where the circle is in the preview window.

The shortcut to switch between them is X or you can click the switch button in the Tools panel.
