Hi,
I'm trying to change the color of a logo (and maybe even the font), but it gets very pixelated. I`ve tried these ways of coloring :
1. One is by using the magic wand, inverse and then fill solid color.
2. The other one is by clicking on the little half white and half black circle next to the layers and put hue saturation.

However, in both ways, the result is very dirty, smudged and pixelated.
How can I make it more clean and sharp? Because it`s very unpleasant to look at.
Thank you!

You need the original artwork and if possible in a vector format (Illustrator...)

I agree that if you have the image as vector artwork then use Illustrator.
If all you have is the raster image, then try this:
This will only work if the image has transparency (png, psd, gif, not jpeg).
If you want to change the typeface, you can do that easily if there is a type layer. If the "text" is pixels, delete it and type new text with the Type tool. Work on a copy of the file.
It occurs to me that you didn't tell us the file type or show your Layers panel. There may be other solutions and we can give a better answer when we see those.

You could also just recreate the logo. I worked for a business printer years ago, we would get all sorts of print jobs in and at least half the time it was faster to just recreate than fix a mess.

I agree with Lumigraphics, the logo is pretty basic.

I see now, according to the comments this would be much easier to create a new one. So in this way what font would you suggest me to use? This one looks pretty boring, but I would like to find something that suits the titles and section names on the main page Link removed by Moderator
And also what do you think would be more suitable to replace the drop on the logo with?

That's because of the extreme low resolution. The lower case letters are only about 18 pixels high, that’s like forming letters with Legos…you cannot avoid it being pixelated at that low resolution. The best solution would be using the original document with vector type and graphics, second best would be re-creating it yourself, which is why others have suggested those.
The worst way would be taking the logo from a web site or a screen shot, because those are some of the lowest resolution graphics available.

Did you think to look for a larger version? The attchment is a transparent PNG 1029 X 171 pixels
Without going outside Photoshop, the nearest font I found was Proxima Nova Black
[EDIT] I looked at it some more, and realised that the lower case characters a few points larger than the capital B. Proxima Nova is still not a dead match, but it is closer.

Hi, wow, thanks so much it looks much better and soo clean!
But I was actually thinking of switching to the different font, but not sure which one is going to suit better for the titles and text fonts. Because this logo appears sitewide, so it has to match the style I believe..
