PPI change in PS not being saved when sent back to LR.

Hi All,

I'm using an iMac on Mojave with PS 2021 and LR Classic 10.4 with CameraRaw 13.4 and image files shot in RAW from a Nikon D850.

When I increase the pixels per inch in PS in the Image Size box with resample deselected, the mm size reduces as expected and wanted. I click done and save back to Lightroom but when I re-export to PS to check, the image has reverted to the original ppi rate and mm size. I have tried this with both Original and Custom selected in the Image Size box and the same happens with both.

Please advise where I am going wrong? Thank you.

Just realised my LR setting preference is for 300dpi.

Will just create another export preset in LR  at 360 dpi.
