problem with brushes

I have a problem with brushes. When I want to do something, for example clone , I get to see a certain shape brush. However, I can no longer change this to a normal round brush. Who can help me?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, Brush Settings, …) visible?

You should be able to choose a brush in the upper left corner of the options bar. Cluck on the reveal arrow next to the brush preview to find your brushes. If it's not showing, can you please post a screenshot of what you are experiencing?
