Problem with Camera Raw Adjustment brush

If I want to apply an effect with the adjustment tool, the effect is not applied in the point indicated but some centimiters far

for example, in the attached picture, i want to use the brush in the right eye, i.e. to increase the exposure, but the effect gets applied near the nose

Anyone can help me understant why???

Not in lightroom

Version updated to 9.8 - no trouble solved

Hi Blank,

Have you tried resetting the preferences of Photoshop?

To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut: Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you startPhotoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.
