Hi everyone, I have a problem with Photoshop.
For business needs I manage some files in Illustrator and then save them in eps. Once this is done, I convert the illustrator eps to high resolution Photoshop eps. After the last update of the suit the conversion has become impossible as all the eps files generated in illustrator are automatically converted to eps color scale at 72 dpi. Thank you
It seems there's a bug in the latest update.
Here is some additional information. This has been reported in several threads. See:

Another reported workaround is this:
Windows: use File>Open As Generic EPS
Mac: highlight the EPS file in the Photoshop open dialog and select Generic EPS from the Format dropdown menu."

EPS is reckoned to be an obsolete format.

I have been having the same issue with saved EPS files importing as indexed color 72 dpi files that are worthless. I tried re-saving the offending EPS from AI as .SVG and then importing that into Photoshop. The import screen was the familiar one that allows the selection of resolution, mode and size. Problem temprarily solved.
