Problem with the text tool

Goodnight,

When I click on the text tool, either by the shortcut on the "t" key or by clicking on the shortcut in Photoshop tools it automatically goes back to the selection tool.

My computer is newly formatted and the problem has been since formatting previously.

Someone with the same problem?

I'm using the most updated version of both the video card (I use an RTX 2080 Super) and Photoshop.  24.0.0.

What is the Photoshop > Preferences > Tools > Spring-loaded Tool Shortcuts-setting?
