After you put a check in Deactivate Native Canvas, did you restart Photoshop?

You have photoshop cc 2023 (ps ver 24.x.x) not photoshop cs6.
@Fernanda29807494o56y disable native canvas is not available for Photoshop CS6.
Go to Photoshop Preferences/Technology Preview and check “Use Older GPU Mode (2016)”. Quit and relaunch PS.
