Hi
I have problems printing from photoshop. Done all uppdates. When I press print, the program freeze and shut down. I don't get as far as the Print Setup screen which lets me choose a printer etc. Both printers work normally with other software. What to do??

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the exact version of Photoshop along with the version of Windows are you working on? Do you get a crash report when Photoshop closes? If yes, have you submitted them using your ID?

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop manually using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences

Let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj

Here is some general info on printing problems,

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-printing-problems.html

if that doesn’t help -

Perhaps try resetting Photoshop preferences?

Resetting restores Photoshop's internal preferences, which are saved when Photoshop closes. If they become corrupt then various issues can occur.

Here’s some info on how to do that:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

You may want to backup your settings and your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

It may even be time to reinstall Photoshop.

Use the Adobe CC cleaner tool to remove all traces first.

Uninstall photoshop BUT make sure to choose the option “Yes, remove app preference”.

Once that process finishes, start the installation process and look into the “Advanced Options”. Uncheck “Import previous settings and preferences” and choose to “Remove old versions”.

I hope this helps
