File compatability problem.

The orginal file was composed in Procreate on new ipad pro2 then save to the cloud, I then moved on to PS on my imac to do some extra work on it. I then saved it and went back to the ipad. The ipad would no longer open the file. The message box said the file had some layers that were too large. (It was smaller than the orgial file that I saved???)

Any ideas how I can sort this compatability out?

Also while in PS I cant save my work as a jpeg where has this option gone???

Try to check your layers in PS to see if there is a problem in layers.

Hi
As of 22.4.1, you can find png, jpg, pdf, etc., in Save a Copy.
As of 22.4.2 you can also revert to the previous behavior in Preferences > File Handling > File Saving Options:

  • Enable Legacy Save As
  • Do not append Copy to Filename

See this help page for details and cautions:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/saving-images.html

Also note that JPEG does not support layers and the image will be flat. Be sure to save the layered version in psd or tiff.

Can you show a screen shot of your Layers panel? Resize it taller and wider so we can see all of it.
