PS 2019 Missing selection when changing to bitmap mode

Hi, I have a problem

When I change image from Grayscale to Bitmap mode, the selection is missed.

How can I keep the selection? Please help. It's not happen with older versions.

As a work-around try Select > Reselect (cmd-shift-D).

 I tried in Photoshop CC 2017 and there the Selection also disappears at conversion to Bitmap. 

Do you remember in which version the Selection was maintained?
