Whenever I open a new file or an exisiting one it half loads in then takes hours to let me make any edits or adjustments. I was able to load in a file from my library, couldnt see it....but was able to get it to print. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, installing older versions and updating back up to 2022 when that wasnt working, I reset all the settings to their defaults, my graphics are compatable. I got an entirely new desktop...and I am still having the same issues.... I randomly will get a prompt that says theres an issue within the program and gives me a link to figure out how to fix it but it is a webpage with answers to several issues, none of which i have nor have any of the solvents actually worked in a last ditch effort to just be able to edit a plain...untitled...file.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

It looks like this fixed it! I was able to get an empty canvas to open and even do a little doodle on it! Thank you!

We believe that underlying issues of the Photoshop home screen appearing where the document canvas should be (that were temporarily worked around by selecting the ‘Deactivate native canvas button’ in Technology Preview) have been fixed, and you may now de-select that button for future Photoshop sessions. Please let us know if any of these issues return once the native canvas has been re-activated.
