PS 2023 - Content-Aware Fill pane does not close anymore

Hello Community,

This is an odd one. I use Photoshop 2023 and have opened Content-Aware Fill for an image. My computer crashed with Photoshop still open. On reboot and reopening PS, The preview window and the menu pane for Content-Aware Fill was still open, the preview window blank, and I cannot close the menu pane anymore. Clicking on OK, Apply, or Cancel does not do anything.

I am stumped. Please help!

I would first reset your preferences, and if that doesn't work, reinstall PS.

Yes, I actually did that now. Opening PS, immediately hold down Ctrl-Shift-Alt. Seems to have done the trick. Thank you!
