PS 2024 crashes when deleting alpha channels

Since the latest update i have trouble to delete alpha channels.
selecting some unwanted alpha channels and clicking on the trashcan icon of the channel pallette, PS crashes n 9 of 10 cases…
I have a Mac Studio running Ventura 13.6.6 and PS 25.6.0

The easiest thing to try for a fix is to reset the Photoshop preferences:

Thank you i saved my old prefs , deleted the prefs in library and the error with crashing was gone.
thean i put back the important settings from the backuped prefs folder and my personel workspace file seems to be corrupted.
Saved a new workspace file and everything seems to run as it should…
