Hey all!

I have a bit of a random issue. For some reason 'Photomerge' from the automate option has decided it no longer wants to launch. If I go to run it, PS simply freezes and stops responding. I have to go to task manager and kill the process. The stange thing is my work colleague has the exact same computer as me (issued by our workplace) and is running the same version of PS, and is able to run Photomerge with no issues. I have tried reinstalling PS (even removing my personal preferences for a compelete clean install) with no luck.

Edit: I was going to attached a screenshot of my 'System info' from the 'help' menu in PS and this also seems to crash PS when trying to launch it.

Can anyone suggest a way to fix this?

  1. Version of the app - 23.3.1
  2. Platform and OS version - Windows 10
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem - Trying to launch Photomerge from the automate menu under file.
  4. Expected result and actual result - Expecting Photomerge to launch. Result is instalty freezes with no popups or signes of PM lauching. Have to open Task manager to kill the PS process and it doesn't recover.

My guess is a bad GPU driver. So maybe the two computers have different drivers installed?
