After udpating to 23.4.1 PS has become very instable.
It does almost never work on the first start (complains about not enough RAM on first start) and when running it frequently just crashes. I already lost some work due to this and it's really annoying.
As PS is not freeware, I would expect better release teasting 😞 - Before 23.4.1 I was really happy with PS
Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences (then closing and reopening the application)?
If that doesn't resolve the issue, and you have the correct system specs, I suggest you roll back to the previous version until the matter with this version is resolved.
