Hi,
I'm making actions for my collegues who have no competance in PS.
Some of those actions create a text, but if the user stop the action by cancelling the text (slashed circle button) it causes PS to freeze/crash. Only solution found so far is to force it shut with the task manager.
Would anybody have a solution? We really need this to be "stupid simple".
Kind regards
PS 21.2.1 on W10
If Photoshop freezes and lock ups Adobe would need to fix that issue. You are not expected to fix Adobe's issues. However you need to work around the issue till Adobe fixes the issue they may. If Photoshop Freezes and lock about all you can do is what you have done kill Photoshop with a task managers restart Photoshop and try to avoid the area the issue is in. Do not cut off the users fingers.

Thank you JJMack.
For now I'll stick a stop note before the text action asking to avoid using the cancel button.
Hopefully Adobe will fix this before they stop reading the note.

Has a solution to this been found? I am having the same issue. I am putting a note in a Stop step in an action, and when it gets to that, it Photoshop freezes and the only recourse is to force exit out of PS. When there's no message, just a stop, it runs fine.
