PS home screen not showing file extensions

New Here ,
Oct 14, 2025 Oct 14, 2025

In the PS home screen grid view, I can't see the file extensions any longer so I don't know wether its a .psd or .jpg or anything. To see the extension, I have to use list view which is no good because the thumnails are way too small. Can you please fix this so I can actually know what files I am looking at? Without the file extension, I am completely in the dark and it's backwards progress in my workflow. PLEASE FIX. Any ideas to fix manually are appreciated. I am using the most recent version of the app on Windows 11. Thanks all.

Hi @MWZ3 not optimal, but if you switch your recent documents to list view it shows the file type below the name.
