PS v24 closes without warning

I have recently upgraded to PS v!" but since doing so I have had several instances where mid way through a work flow PS closes without warning and without saving the work up to that point. Has anyone else experienced this. I have never had this problem in V11.x or earlier versions. In every case it has been while cleaning up unwanted features, spots etc but all the work, new layers etc  has been lost.

Yes you are right . My error I used the lr version but my question still stands as I indeed have v24.
