PS will not save my file in any way today!!

The current and previous version of PS have been acting wanky.  Now I can not save my psd in any way.  'Save' simply does nothing.  Save As, does nothing.  I even created a jpg and it won't save it.  

PS is v. 23.2.0.  Mac OS is 12.2.  Using a M1 Mini iMac.

I really need some help now, thanks....

I'm not closing PS until I can somehow save my doc with lot's of time put into it.

If you try saving as TIFF, any better?

Read it.  Won't save in any way.  Any file type.  Just won't save anything anyhow..

In System Preferences, >Security & Privacy, >Full Disk Access, so you see PS listed? If not, do add it and try again. And you'll have to restart Photoshop.

You may have to reset PS's preferences as well.

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

(Mac OS only) Open the Preferences folder in the Library folder*, and drag the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.

This action only affects the items found in the preferences dialog box. Numerous program settings are stored in the Adobe Photoshop Preferences file, including general display options, file-saving options, performance options, cursor options, transparency options, type options, and options for plug‑ins and scratch disks. Brushes (and lots of other setting) are not affected by the above instructions for deleting preferences. You may wish to make a screen capture of the settings in the Preferences dialog to reset them prior to deleting of this file.

*To manually delete Photoshop preferences:
Quit Photoshop.
Navigate to Photoshop's Preferences folder:
MacOS: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
Windows 10: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

Note:
The user Library folder is hidden by default on macOS. To access files in the hidden user Library folder, see How to access hidden user library files.

Drag the entire Adobe Photoshop [Version] Settings folder to the desktop or somewhere safe for a back-up of your settings

Thanks, D dog.  I finally concluded I was simply going to lose my work on that image and I quit PS.  But not before capturing the largest size screenshot I could.  When I re-oened PS, it did not save the original file behind the scenes. So I starrted again and the save functions are all working again.  Other issues still remain, such as the outline of my circular brush cursor after I use the clone or healing brush tool.  Fortunatelyi it is not part of the file, just lingers nn the screen a while.
