PSD smart object.

Dear PS community,

I'm trying to realize a system that can use computer programs to operate on PSD smart objects. The goal is to replace images in the smart objects while maintaining parameters such as distortion and shadows.

Since all the image data are stored on my own server which is far from the official PS servers. So it's very slow when I do this through the official PSD smart object APIs.

My questinon is: What should I do to acclerate the processing?

I noticed that some platforms such as zazzle.com already realized such schemes. Not sure what's the trick behind.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Your help is much appreciated!

The trick likely is that they are throwing a lot of money at Adobe and have privileged licensing and access to some none-public API stuff and developer support.
