I have photoshop and love it. I sublimated tumblers and mugs. I have templates for them. I use the templates in my Cricut program. I download them as a SVG. Can I use them in PS? I rather print with PS.

One can rasterize or place svg images in Photoshop, but not open them »properly«.

As Photoshop is pixel-oriented it would seem preferable to print from a vector-oriented application.
