It would be great for people who make shapes, or draw in photoshop to have a quick shape feature. Alot of incredible ipad features would be amazing to see in a photoshop desktop environment.

At its core, Photoshop is an image editor with some support for drawing, whereas Illustrator is a drawing application. You can find this feature in Illustrator — it's called the Shaper tool. Details here:

I'm not saying don't ask for it in Photoshop, as Photoshop has "borrowed" several things that were developed by the Illustrator team first. If you need it now, you can find it in Illustrator, then copy the paths to Photoshop if necessary.

Using the photoshop brushes , having the ability to make shapes and lines gesturely like you can on most ipad apps would be greatly benefial in Photoshop. Photoshop has trasformed itself into a tool thats used by many in the industry as the standard for drawing, design, and graphic design from its humble beginings as soley a photo editing suite. Artist would greatly benefit from this feature as they do on the ipad. Thank you.

Yes! I need this so much! Illustrator won't do the job.
