Recently, Adobe Photoshop places the "Clean Listener.jsx" script file on the desktop every time I delete it. Photoshop recreates this script file and places it on the desktop again. How do I get rid of this?

Michael

Hi Micheal,
Sorry that Photoshop is placing a script file "clean listener.jsx" on your desktop and keep reappearing after you delete it.
Could you please take a look at this similar discussion https://forums.adobe.com/thread/552611 and let us know if that helps?
Thanks,
Akash

Hi Akash,
The problem is solved.
I disabled the script in the "Script Events Manager".

Michael,
Where do I find the Script Events Manager? I have Photoshop 2020 - now 2021.
I'm having the same script issue that you had.
Thank you,
Rochelle

Go to File > Scripts > Script Events Manager then under Photoshop Event click on Script button. Type in Clean Listener in the window. Then click ADD. That should solve the problem. It did for me.

It created the clean listener.jsx after following above instructions for me.
