"Show Additional Preset Info" for the brushes is greyed out

I am trying to set up my brushes so I can " show additional preset info"  but it is greyed out.

For me it was the zoom slider at the bottom of the brushes menu. Drag it a bit to the right so that the brush previews are larger and can fit the tiny extra icons.
