Georgia

Hi @Georgia25847404vqll sorry to hear this. The photo you reference did not show up, would it be possible to explain your workflow and share a screenshot or video of what you are seeing? Have there been any recent changes to your conputer/OS or Photoshop?

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

Is it possible you altered a setting on the camera itself for aspect ratio?

If not, start with Camera Raw, reset the preferences and try again; better?

Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (MacOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
