Have you searched the forum for similar posts from other event photographers?

Perhaps you could illustrate your post with before/after images and a cropped screenshot of your layers panel.

If this is to hack the lack of hi-res, what about the actions several gurus have shown on YouTube?

I think it's also sad if I see how many people want to start hammering the Adobe servers with this... This is what may make them put a cap on the free version, make you pay (more), etc.
