Recovering Trimmed Image

Accidentally I trimmed the image I was working on. And after trimming, I worked on the trimmed image but suddenly I realised that I need to get some of the work I've done before trimming. I'm unable to recover that now by CTRL + z, as I've already done some work after trimming. How to recover the first image size which I was working on? please help anyone.

If you've Saved the image you can't "revert".  Presumably you worked on a copy of your original image, so you will need to make another copy and crop it again.

I'm sure it's too late now, but how many history states do you have?  Saving doesn't clear history unless you close and reopen the image.  We tend to have a lot more RAM nowadays, so it makes sense to increase the derfault 20 to something more useful.

I recommend turning on autocreate snapshots when opening an image, and saving:

That way, you will have something to fall back on if you've run out of history steps (set number in Prefs > Performance; I have mine set to 350; higher the number, more RAM and scratch space used).
