Red blotches appearing when increasing exposure/highlights/ brightness on camera raw

Red blotches appear when I increase the whites (exposure/highlights/ brightness/whites/blacks/ contrast) only on camera raw, for all files.

If I save the image, the final output however does not show the red blotch
This issue started just yesterday and was working great before for a year. 

Ive posted an example of this.

You probably turned on clipping warnings by hitting the O or U keys. You can also enable/disable clipping warnings by clicking on these black upward facing triangle buttons on the histogram:
