I almost always use linked files in Photoshop; Its a great feature that saves space and more importantly, gives you the option to update all layers if you have changed them outside of the master document (similar to Illustrator, After Effects, Indesign, etc etc.)
One issue that I have run into; if I move linked files onto a different hard drive, I have to go in and manually relink each one again. I'm going to use After Effects as an exaxmple, where you can relink multiple files automatically (It can clearly see the rest of the files in the same location, just on a different hard drive.)
For After Effects, I found this amazing plugin called File Hunter:

Does anybody know of a similar plugin, or a script, or even just a way to reconnect linked files more seamlessly (rather than having to manually click them one by one.)
Please note: I have read through and tried this one, but it does not work, it throws the following error and I think its due to the script only being written for a Windows operating system.
The issue is that you saved the script in rich text format, not plain text format.
