Ruler tool not giving decimal points once measurements become 4 digits

I am having an issue with the ruler tool in photoshop. It measures to 2 decimal places (i.e. 457.61) until it reaches a 4 digit number where it stop being as precise (i.e 4147...). I need to measure more precisely. This is not happening across acocunts, only on one computer, Photoshop V25.9 on a WIndows 11 PC.

I am having a similar issue as abstractiongecko. I need all my measurements (in inches) to go to four decimal places. Photoshop only allows for two decimal places, thus it will "round up." I need better accuracy. Is there any setting I could change to allow for this? I am using Photoshop 2025 on a Mac.

When using the ruler tool use Custom measurement scale (set under Image > Analysis) to translate from pixels to real world logical units. Then use the measurement log to record the measurements, it does not have the same restrictions on digits as the measurements shown in the options bar.
