Same file looks different in 2022 vs 2021

I had a problem with a PSD. It looks different in PS2022 than 2021

In 2022 the file is much less saturated and there's some white bleeding around the edges of text etc...

I've re-installed and reset prefs. Color settings are identical.

I cannot figure it out. Left is 2022, right is 2021.

I've now worked out it is not a color profile problem.

If I flatten the file and save it, it looks identical in both. So clearly there is some differences between 21 and 22 in terms of how layer styles and adjustments layers are rendered. At this moment it's just not clear which layers or effects are being rendered differently.
