Save As - Replace File

When saving a file that already exists, the warning pop up asking if you want to replace the file, is hidden behind the 'save as' screen. I have to move windows to select replace file in order to continue.
I have never experienced this before. Not sure if this is an operating system issue, or it’s Adobe’s problem.

It's always popped up at the forefront of the screen. It is happening in all Adobe CC apps.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble with Photoshop. We're here to help.

Please share the system info of Photoshop from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload to Creative Cloud files (https://assets.adobe.com/files) and share with us. Do you work with multiple monitors?

Ensure there are no stale/damaged preferences of Photoshop.

  • Go to the location of the preference folder mentioned below and rename it to backup. (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html)
  • macOS: Hold down the Option key in the Finder when using the Go menu. The library will appear below the current user's home directory.
  • Library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
  • Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2022 > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2022. old)

This will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install.

Here is a similar discussion/bug where updating to Photoshop v23.5.1 helped: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-dialog-boxes-error-messages-pop-up-invisib...

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks!
