Hi, I'm struggling to find a way to save a brush preset in Photoshop on my iPad

Do I need to create it in my desktop Photoshop first?

Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track.

Please create Brush preset on the Photoshop desktop & export it in the ABR format.

  • Enable the Brushes tab first > go to Window > Brush > Select a brush or brush family.
  • Context menu > Export Selected Brushes

Once exported, move the file to your iPad files app.

Follow the steps here to import Brush files to Photoshop on iPad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGBfb9puU_Y

Let me know if this helps,
Thanks!

Thanks for replying!

The part I'm stuck at is "move the file to your iPad files app" - Where is that? iCloud drive? Dropbox? Creative Cloud?

I left that part out so to keep your options open. You can use any cloud storage or transfer method.

Our goal is to send the .ABR file to the Files app on the iPad.
You can use Creative Cloud Files: https://assets.adobe.com/files

Thanks!
